Horseback Ride through the Sand Dunes
Roam sand dunes that reach 10 to 40 feet high. The dunes are stabilized by prairie grass making it enjoyable to hike on a breezy day. They are located next to Sand Hills State Park and provide access to Hutchinson’s Dune Tract. The state park is known for the 15-mile trail system used for hiking and horseback riding. There are 64 campsites including 14 horsepens, as well as cabins to reserve. The campground surrounds a five-acre pond making it a perfect spot to try your luck fishing.
